Looked up Nathan C. Plimpton 5th auxiliary. So, I just wonder what N.C. Plimpton meant. I found Captain Nathan. C Plimpton. He served in central Europe with the 5th Auxiliary Surgical group. This WW2 set could been a part of 5th Auxiliary. Team would have supplies surgical case that load up on vehicle. This what I found way cool if it is right.
This is part of America History with name and WW2 era. Has extra bonus with name on the case. It has it own history don’t miss out.
Ok, wow this is largest kit very I have sold. It has 8 trays with 47 POUNDS tools that are original. I don’t like selling heavy item or large item to sell but here it is I couldn’t help myself !!!!!! Not complete nice be war set to put together over time. It has the original stalking manual make it easy know what is missing what to looked for. Has all the trays and cute side kits. There are tools and extra suprises in this very large and heavy German set. Just a very impressive set now I know why German medical is one of highest medical for collectors just breathtaking.
One tray handle broken off. And one of the trays the metal is fence where the tools go on. Sign of used and age. Picture are best way to see condition. Surgical tools in good condition I don’t see rust. Three tools aren’t AESCULAP. Two forceps, filp blade has CHIRON. Aseculap is a very desirable German Medical instrument. I understand because the tools feel very well made.
