VINTAGE VERNETTI SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS
Rare opportunity to acquire a top-notch set of Civil War Era instruments.   These are the best instruments I’ve ever seen.  Some of the instruments may not have been used.   Caution: the knives are RAZOR sharp.  The set is very heavy and measures 17″ x 9″ x 3″.   Most pieces are present except for two on the bottom of the box.    The box is in good condition with usual wear.   It can be a little hard to close but it can be done.   There is some wear to the velvet but all-in-all it is
very stout.
The saw has two sides – one had finer teeth than the other.
I’ve had a hard time finding a surgical set by Vernetti – they were in business since the late 1700s.
